The MD60G is an 8-inch single-spindle, live-tool lathe equipped with milling and drilling capabilities in every turret position, catering to both low- and high-volume production demands. Combining live tooling capabilities with a versatile gantry, this lathe ensures heightened productivity, multi-axis machining capabilities, and efficient automation for diverse and complex machining operations. 

Muratec’s live-tooling machines are fully equipped with an integrated 3-Axis gantry robot loader, enabling automatic loading and unloading of parts, resulting in increased productivity and reduced labor costs in each cycle. With live-tooling capability in all turret positions and C-axis spindle control, the MD Series offers production flexibility by consolidating multiple operations into a single machine.
